Arrival to Cairo airport, our representative will meet you in the airport then you will be transferred by a private A/C car to your hotel to drop off your luggage.
At 8:00am we’ll kick off your tour by discovering the majesty of the three massive pyramids, Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos, before visiting the Valley Temple where the Priests mummified the dead body of King Chephren. From here you can also have a close-up look at the Sphinx – the legendary guardian that stands by the huge funeral complex with its lion body and the head of king Chephren.
Lunch is included in between visits at a local restaurant (beverages not included).
Then continue your day tour to the Egyptian Museum of antiquities.
It displays the largest and most precious items of the Egyptian art in the world. It exhibits a rare collection of over 250,000 genuine artifacts that date as far back as 5000 years, including an exclusive exhibit dedicated to the Tutankhamon, a collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry that were buried in his tomb for over 3,500 years before they were discovered in the 1922 when his tomb was excavated.
Lastly, we’ll shop for souvenirs in the Khan Khalili Bazaar where you can see Islamic sites of Cairo The numerous shops in this district are known for trading fine brass ware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques and much more.
Day 2 : Cairo – Luxor
Have an early breakfast before departing to the airport for your flight to Luxor.
When you arrive our representative will meet you to start your tour of the West Bank .
Here we’ll visit the Valley of Kings,Colossi of Memnon and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.
Lunch is included in between visits at a local restaurant (beverages not included).
Next we’ll experience the East Bank, visiting Karnak and Luxor Temples. At Luxor Temple we’ll see its courtyard and the granite statues of Ramses the Great.
Proceed to Karnak, which is a series of temples, built in different reigns. Starting by the Avenue of Sphinxes visit the Unfinished Propylon, the Hypostyle Hall with it’s 134 gigantic columns, the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Tutomosis I, the temple of Amon adorned with lotus and papyrus designs, the Granite Scarab of Amenophis III and the Sacred Lake.
We’ll transfer you to the airport for your return flight from Cairo where you can catch your international flight home.
